Christopher Ghorayeb kickstarted his advertising career in 2006 as a freelance graphic designer for different ad agencies.
In 2010, he joined Grey MENA where he worked on prestigious accounts, across various sectors, including P&G, Bank Byblos, Syriatel and KorekTel. He received recognition for his great work and for smoothly handling demanding briefs within tight deadlines.
Years later, Christopher was recruited by FP7/McCann as an Art Director, where he handled their biggest client: Korek Telecom. During his time there, he remodeled Korek’s whole corporate identity, building a solid and recognizable brand for the company. Christopher also worked on projects for other clients such as Pizza Hut and Jaguar/Land Rover. He and his team members were credited for creating a successful outdoor campaign that resulted in a complete buy-out of all the Jaguar/Land Rover cars in the showroom. He also worked on a successful outdoor campaign for the opening of Pizza Hut—the first international brand in Kurdistan, Iraq.
Due to the escalating political situation in Erbil, Christopher returned to Beirut where he worked with Publicis as a Senior Art Director. He handled the Sabafon Telecom account and worked for other clients, including Dodge and Fransabank.
Christopher then moved to Rizkgroup, where he led a creative team of art directors, graphic designers and copywriters. He was credited with winning the Mentos account, great team leadership skills and delivering successful campaigns for clients such as Hyundai and Vivacell.
Christopher currently works at TBWA \ RAAD. Besides passionately pursuing proactive ideas, his current focus is on team management, as he believes wholeheartedly in the synergistic power of a team to come up with groundbreaking, disruptive work, when inspired and motivated to deliver its best. A big part of his love for advertising is about working closely with people, keeping them motivated and above all, building strong interpersonal relationships.
